Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I get involved?
To register for online training, you can purchase a membership and submit information in a form for new students. You will then receive your the workout for your first week. If you have further questions, please contact us!
Q: Why should I try online training?
Online training is a great opportunity to learn from a qualified coach when you would otherwise not be able to travel to the Circus Center or a handstand workshop. Many students participate in online handstand training while travelling or living around the world. Hands-on coaching is invaluable, but you can improve online through dedication, focus, and patience.
Q: How can I contact my coach?
You can reach us by phone, contact form, or by emailing Jean-Luc directly at email@example.com. While participating in online training, you may talk to Jean-Luc via Skype, WhatsApp, and FaceTime. Videos can be submitted via a Google Drive folder that will be created upon registration.
Q: How long is the training program?
The minimum commitment for online training is three months, and many students participate in the program on an ongoing basis.
Q: When will I receive workouts and feedback?
After you register for online training, Jean-Luc will review the form, photos, and videos you submit. You will then receive your training materials for the first week. Every week, Jean-Luc will assign you a new workout, and you can view videos of every drill in order to fully understand them. At the end of the week, you submit videos of each drill so that Jean-Luc can review your progress and build the next week's worksheet.
Q: What do I need to submit?
To help Jean-Luc better understand your goals and experience, new students submit an interview form and several photos and videos showing flexibility and technique. Please send photos to JL@sandiegocircuscenter.org.
